The Order of Malta

Murph and John Burke, a member of The Federal Association of The Order of Malta, traveled in April to participate in its annual pilgrimage to Lourdes, France. The Order of Malta is a lay religious Order that dates back to the year 1050. Its mission is to nurture, witness and protect the faith and to serve the poor and sick.

John was knighted into the Order in 2014. He is pictured here at his investiture with Archbishop of Baltimore William E. Lori at St. Matthew’s Cathedral in Washington, DC. Murph Burke is photographed in Lourdes, France.
